E-Series 2017 Speakers
Every year, we’re proud to offer access to an incredible line up of speakers. Click here to meet the exceptional leaders teaching this year’s E-Series program:
E-SERIES 2017 | April 19 – 21, 2017 | Vancouver, BC
E-Series is FWE’s longest-running, signature program for women entrepreneurs who are serious about growing their business.
Each April, over 50 women entrepreneurs from across Canada immerse themselves in business and entrepreneurial education + mentorship. Participants are placed in small classrooms with like-minded entrepreneurs where we cover a comprehensive set of topics, such as:
- Marketing + Branding
- Governance (Boards)
- Business Law / Trademarks
- Capital Raising
- Pitching for Investment
1:1 Mentorship for Continued Support
All participants get paired with their own Mentor for 1:1 sessions, once per month for 14 months. This 1:1 support is critical to ensuring that learnings, new ideas and strategies can be applied to the growth plan of the company.
All-star speakers for the 2017 program include Bev Briscoe (Chair, Ritchie Bros and Past President, Hiway Refrigeration), Terry McBride (CEO + Co-Founder of Nettwerk Music + YYoga), Yuri Fulmer (Fulmer Capital Partners), and many more.
What Makes E-Series Special?
- Over 90% of E-Series Grads since 2003 are still in business, compared to the national average of just 50% after 5 years of starting a business
- After taking the program, Grads experience an average annualized revenue growth rate of 40%
- 100% of participants find the program value (over 80% find it ‘extremely valuable’)
“The energy was electric and lit a fire in me to come home and take my business to the next level! “
– Allison Chislett, IDesign Ltd, Paradise, NFLD (E-Series 2016 Grad)
“….I can’t even describe how inspired and amazed I am by the speakers at this event. To have high level leaders in the business community come talk to ME felt like a privilege I never imagined having…Basically everything was awesome.
One more thing: this is the most organized, thoughtful conference I have EVER attended.”
– Jennifer Hollinshead, Peak Resilience (E-Series 2016 Grad)
Past Participants have Included:
- Hagensborg Chocolates
- HUB Restaurant
- The Cupcake Girls
- Urban Impact Recycling
- Bombay Brow Bar
- The Gourmet Warehouse
…just to name a few!
