TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER.
Vancouver Council for CARE Canada welcomes the inspiring women of FWE to walk for women everywhere this March. In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Vancouver Council for CARE Canada and their supporters walk 10,000 steps (approximately 8 km) in solidarity with our sisters abroad. Around the world, women shoulder the majority of responsibilities for managing the home and raising children. On average a woman in an impoverished community will walk 10,000 steps per day in pursuit of basic needs such clean water and food to keep her family healthy and safe.
We invite you to join us on March 4, 2018 for the annual CARE walk. Let’s show the world what women working together can achieve! There is no better reason to gather your girlfriends, form a team, and have a good heart pumping walk in celebration of International Women’s Day!
Please register your interest today at care.ca/walk and CARE Canada will send you more information in January 2018.
Funds raised in Vancouver go towards the “Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies” project in Malawi. There are 10x as many reasons to support our 10,000 step walk in 2018 – for every dollar you raise in 2018, the Federal Government of Canada will match your donation by 10x. This is the power that partnership with CARE can bring to the women of Malawi.

We at FWE will be supporting this admirable cause, and we hope that you will consider joining us. Register your interest today!
