In her role as Director of Fundraising and Corporate Sponsorship of FWE – a charity she has been with for the last seven years – Lisa works directly with sponsors, foundations and the incredible FWE Community to ensure that we can continue to energize, educate, mentor and connect women entrepreneurs to be wildly successful, promoting strong economies and thriving communities.

Outside of FWE, Lisa is the Co-Chair of WEB Alliance of Women’s Business Networks and has served as a Judge of the Prix Palme Bleue award for the Chambre de Commerce Francophone de Vancouver for the past several years.

Lisa was awarded the 2016 Top Forty under 40 Award by Business in Vancouver.

Before joining FWE as the Interim Program Manager, Sarah was a Project Manager in the biotechnology industry. Bringing in her skill set of project management, product development and event planning, Sarah is committed to delivering educational programs that empower female entrepreneurs across Canada. Her background also includes working in the brewing and distilling industry, developing and launching new products to the UK market.

Mentor Program Manager (On Maternity Leave)

With a B.A. in Communications and MBA in Business Management, Melodie is passionate about helping women entrepreneurs take their business to the next level. As the Mentor Program Manager for FWE, she’s able to achieve that goal by connecting them with experienced business leaders and successful entrepreneurs. Her previous work experience in marketing, event management, and relationship development have proved valuable to her role at FWE. Melodie believes that learning never stops for entrepreneurs (and everyone else!), and is excited to provide them every day with the tools + expertise needed to elevate their business.

 

 

Danielle Flawn

Events and Sponsorship Coordinator (On Maternity Leave)

Danielle has a background in the Non-Profit sector in Event Management and Fundraising. Before joining FWE as Events and Sponsorship Coordinator, she was working and living in Toronto. She studied at the University of Toronto where she received an Honours B.A. in Art History and English. After completing her undergrad she went back to school to study Fundraising at Ryerson University where she received a diploma in Fundraising Management. She has a passion for events and fundraising and is eager to share her knowledge and experience to benefit the FWE community.
